The Director-General of the Isoko North Local Government PDP Campaign Council, for the July 13 Local Government elections in Delta State, Hon. Emmanuel Egbabor has called on party leaders and stakeholders to mobilise massively for the June 26, campaign rally at Ozoro.

Egbabor in a statement, said the party would on Wednesday, June 26, flag-off it’s campaign for the Local Government elections at Ekwerigbe Primary School, along NDC Road, Ozoro at 11am prompt.

He urged people of the local government to come en-masse to support the party’s Chairmanship candidate, Prince Godwin Ogorugba and his running mate, Dr Mrs Evelyn Aluta and all twenty councillorship candidates at the rally.

The DG pointed out that Prince Godwin Ogorugba’s bid for Chairman of the Isoko North Council was the remedy required to move the LGA forward, with his GOD WINS Agenda, necessitating support for him and the party.

He further expressed optimism that Prince Ogorugba’s “GOD WINS” Agenda of “Government for the people, Opportunities for growth, Development, Welfare, Inclusiveness, New ideas and Security”, would impact positively on the people in line with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s MORE Agenda.

He advised the people to shun mischief makers who do not mean well for the growth and development of Isoko North and vote PDP all the way, from Chairmanship down to councilorship, in order to continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

Egbabor commended leaders of the party in the LGA, Rt. Hon. Leo Ogor, Elder Emma Ogidi, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, Commissioner for Health, Dr Joseph Onojaeme, pioneer Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Okoro, Executive Director Finance and Administration of DESOPADEC Chief Kome Okpobor and Chairman Delta State Hospitals Management Board, Dr Paul Oweh and other leaders for working closely with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to advance the development of Isoko North and sued for continued support.

He noted that in the past year, Governor Oborevwori had set the standard for good governance, prudence, focus, dedication, and commitment—all qualities that characterise exemplary leadership, adding that the Governor was unwaveringly committed to pursuing his administration’s policies and programmes in line with his MORE Agenda to improve the lot of Deltans.
