AGOFURE ASSURES ACOMORAN MEMBERS SYNERGY

Delta State Commissioner for Transport Mr Onoriode Agofure has assured the Amalgamated Commercial Tricycle and Motorcycle Owners, Repairers and Riders of Nigeria Synergy in the State.
Agofure gave the assurance, when the Union Executives paid him a familiarization visit to intimate him about their proposed commercial activities in the State ,that needed the blessings of the State Government.
The ACOMORAN State Chairman Comrade Augustine Omohwo and the State Welfare Secretary Comrade Bishop Kelvin Obigho and other members were in-attendance during the visit in Asaba.
Agofure charged the ACOMORAN Members to come up with their constitution and objectives,in-order to fully assess their Mondus operandi, Stressing that the State government deserves hundred percent peace,as it concerns the various publics of the Ministry of Transport.
The Commissioner stress the need for all Stakeholders in the Transport sector to live and operate harmoniously across the State.He reiterated that the State Governor Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori deserve the support of all and sundry to deliver better developmental projects to deltans and not rancour or in-fighting from any quarter or association.
Responding earlier, Comrade Augustine Omohwo, remarked that their Union have well organized personalities and structure,”even from the Federal level”.
He disclosed that all they wanted was to partner with the State government in their programmes and activities, adding that their recognition by the State was paramount.
Comrade Augustine Omohwo, remarked that they have laudable plans and Programmes for their members, across the Nation..
He mentioned some of their Programmes and support to include, Health insurance policy, through the State Contributory Health scheme, educational support for members children, educational support for members (part time studies)non refundable.
Other incentives for members, according to Chairman includes, maintenance of motorcycle and tricycle loan support, Housing loans support (rentage), provision of electric tricycle and yearly awards to deserving Members in the area of gifting motorcycle and tricycle parts,such as tires, engine blocks, windscreen amongst other services.
