NISMA Inducts Delta Governor’s Media Aide as Associate Member
The Nigerian Institute of Social Media Analysts (NISMA) has inducted Comrade Odamah Eshiemomoh Christopher, Special Assistant to Delta State Governor on Media, as an associate member. This induction is a significant recognition of Odamah’s expertise and commitment to social media management.
The induction ceremony followed a rigorous two-day Mandatory Educational Training and Development (METAD) program, which covered various aspects of social media management, including advanced analytics, social media psychology, and fact-checking.
In his address, DIG Frank Mba, represented by Provost of the Nigeria Police School of Public Relations, Retd CP Dr Emmanuel Ojukwu, congratulated Odamah on his admission to the Institute and urged him to champion and sustain ethical social media practices.
Christopher Odamah expressed his gratitude to Delta State Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori for the opportunity to serve as his Special Assistant on Media.
He pledged to give his best in the service of the state, particularly in communicating the government’s initiatives and the implementation of the M.O.R.E Agenda.
Odamah said, “All glory, honour and adoration be to God Almighty for all.
“I am incredibly grateful to the indefatigable Executive Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt Hon (Elder) Sheriff F.O. Oborevwori for choosing me as his Special Assistant on Media”.
“I am excited for the opportunity to serve in this role and to communicate the important work and initiatives of our State Government especially the implementation of the M.O.R.E Agenda.”
As an associate member of NISMA, Odamah is expected to uphold the Institute’s corporate governance code and promote ethical social media practices in Nigeria.
Also inducted are Mr. Nelson Egware, Senior Special Assistant on Media into NISMA Distinguished Fellow and Mr. Bayagbon Daniel, who is a Special Assistant on New Media to the State Governor as Associate Member of the Institute.
