Political Integrity: Izeze Rewards ‘Olomu Man’ With Toyota Sienna

Delta State Commissioner for Works (Highways and Urban Roads), Comrade Reuben Izeze has presented a Toyota Sienna to Chief Moses Orhokpor also known as “Olomu Man” for being a man of integrity in politics.

Presenting the vehicle to Chief Orhokpor at his Okpare-Olomu country home, Izeze said he had not forgotten the role of the elder statesman the 2022 House of Assembly Primaries, where he refused to collect a dime from the ex-lawmaker, as a delegate.

Represented by the team lead of the defunct Reuben Izeze Campaign Organisation, Comrade Stephen Dorume, Izeze described Chief Orhokpor, as a man of impeccable integrity who deserved to be celebrated and supported at all times.

According to him, Chief Orhokpor, an uncle to Reuben Izeze from Okpare-Olomu, was the only delegate who refused to collect money from the former lawmaker as a third term aspirant to the Delta State House of Assembly and from Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, as he then was as Governorship candidate of the party.

He said Izeze got only two votes at the 2022 PDP Primaries from Chief Orhokpor and one other delegate, adding that Izeze did not forget Chief Orhokpor’s kind gesture of refusing to collect a dime from him as a delegate.

“The Reuben Izeze i have worked with over the years does not forget any good, hence he decided to reward the elder statesman for his integrity especially since his own Sienna was no longer functioning well.

“We appreciate Izeze because he believes that one good turn deserves another.

“As your son, during the last House of Assembly election, you were a delegate and he also had his cousins and brothers as delegates but you didn’t dissapoint him.

“They collected delegate money from him, yet they didn’t vote for him, but on that very day, you asked him what name you would write on the ballot paper and you went there ad wrote exactly what he told you and lo it turned out that the two names who voted for him were you and one other lady.

“Izeze is one man who doesn’t forget one good without paying back and he has come to pay back that good because in this politics its very rare to see faithful people like you.

“He believes that such good gesture should be faithfully rewarded hence we are here today to make this presentation on his behalf.”

Responding, Chief Orhokpor was full of gratitude to God and Izeze for the kind gesture. He recalled how the Ex-lawmaker paid for his son’s law school fees and prayed for the political success of the Commissioner and all his faithful followers.
