Sheriff Oborevwori, Sunday, said the state government was working with the construction giant, Julius Berger, to redesign and remodel the Effurun roundabout for the purpose of providing cloverleaf and road expansion in the busy corridor.   Delta State Government has assured residents that it will give nothing to chance as it collaborates with the Nigeria Center for Disease Control and Prevention (NCDC) to curb the spread of cholera outbreak in the State. Delta State Government, Thursday, commenced preparatory work for the formulation of a new Medium-Term Development Plan, covering 2024-2027, for the state. The State Commissioner for Economic Planning, Mr Sunny Ekadeyan, disclosed this in his welcome remarks at an enlightenment and orientation workshop for Focal Persons at Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) held at the Prof. Chike Edozien Secretariat in Asaba. Ekadeyen said the state achieved 80 per cent of its Medium-Term Development Plan for 2020-2023 and commended professionals from different cadres of the State Civil Service

Delta State Government, yesterday, said the move to develop the Asaba Waterfront was geared towards effective urban renewal and boosting the tourism potentials of the state. The Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Kingsley Emu, disclosed this shortly after a meeting with representatives of the host communities of the Asaba Waterfront Development project and the project consultants.
