Delta terminates Warri Stadium rehabilitation contract
Delta State Government has terminated the contract for the rehabilitation of Warri Township Stadium due to non-performance. The State Commissioner for Information, Dr Ifeanyi Osuoza, disclosed this to journalists during a press briefing at the end of the State Executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori. INFLATION: Delta approves upward review of projects
Delta State Government has approved the upward review of contract price of some ongoing projects across the state, due to rising cost of construction materials. The Commissioner for Information, Dr. Ifeanyi Osuoza, disclosed this Thursday while briefing journalists on some of the decisions reached at the State Executive Council (EXCO) meeting presided over by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori. Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Delta State, Sir Festus Ahon has paid West African Examination Council, WAEC enrolment fees for all indigent students of Erhavwen Secondary School, Ekrerhavwen-Agbarho, Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state. Delta State Commissioner for Works Highways and Urban Roads, Comrade Reuben Izeze, has assured that Okpanam-Ibusa Road project in Oshimili North Local Government Area, would be completed and delivered by May 2024.
